My ‘Wonderfully Made’ Workshop
Today marks the birth of my ‘Wonderfully Made’ workshops…
Held at mybookbasket.com in One Stop Shopping Centre, Birmingham – It was thoroughly enjoyed by all the boy’s and girl’s, mum’s and dad’s that attended.
The workshops were designed to encourage children;
- to explore the colour, texture and length of their hair.
- to positively affirm themselves with regards to their hair.
- and to react appropriately when faced with negativity about their hair.
This was achieved through play, story telling and self reflection.
My Wow Moment: I especially enjoyed the story’s that the children wrote, expressing love for their hair.
