Gratitude – Week 10
This week began with me discovering that my parents house had been broken into and ended with me being interviewed by IN2 Derby Radio.
All in all, it has been a good week!
I don’t know if you have ever had somebody break into your home; I hadn’t until now!
Although, it’s not my house but, I still refer to it as home as it was my home for the first 25 years of my life.
I felt sick knowing that someone had invaded my family space. Thankfully, they didn’t take anything.
I’m sure you can imagine, the hours there after, were spent liaising with the police, contacting family and friends to assist with securing the house and cleaning up the mess – all whilst looking after my son, doing the school runs (I also picked up my niece and nephew), and cooking dinner.
Hence why I embrace the title SUPER WOMAN!
I’m sister-in-law was a great help, even with one hand lol.
That was Monday. Tuesday, I was involved in a car accident on the M6. I was hit from behind. Thankfully, the motorway was quite congested with the traffic following at around 15mph causing little damage (to the untrained eye).
On Wednesday, women around the world came together in solidarity in celebration of WOMANHOOD! With the theme ‘Be Bold for Change’, celebrations continued right through to the weekend.
I had the pleasure of ‘Playing and Displaying’ at The Market Place and QUAD in Derby.
