I had a fantastic day delivering my Wonderfully Made: My Hair Curls workshop to the Reception and Years 1 & 2 children at St Matthew’s Primary School in Nechelles Birmingham.

The children enthusiastically engaged in all the activities designed to encourage their knowledge of self-worth.
With the main topic being hair, one might assume that boys would not be interested however, this is far from the truth. All the children were delighted to describe the colour, length, and texture of their hair.
The workshop encouraged creativity through art and poetry. The children used these methods to affirm who they are.
